WELCOME TO THE PENTAGON MUSEUM.

Welcome visitors. Upon crossing the threshold, you will be entering a museum famous for its ever-changing atmosphere. Instead of the usual museum, a place which houses pieces of art for centuries, from different time periods and countries, The Pentagon concentrates only on American Artists and their works. To balance out this focused concentration, we, on a month by month basis, welcome new artists and old artist to showcase their works. The only requirement is for there to be a room full of new pieces of American art for every visitor's viewing pleasure, and so we can welcome back the same visitors over and over again, to really create an art-loving community. There are so many great American artists, and keeping the same masterpieces in the same spaces doesn't properly respect all the true artists of today and yesterday. For this month, we would like to welcome you to our Pentagon of Literature, for our works displayed here represent various novels you may have read at various points in your lives. Please take a moment to think out the connections. The Artist has paired the piece with an excerpt, and manager and art lover, Sara Grossman, has provided connections she sees between the art and the literature. Make your own connections, but please, read the connection we have provided for you for another perspective! After all, isn't that what art is all about?

ENJOY!
